8th Frugivores and Seed Dispersal Symposium
Sunday, August 4th to Thursday, August 8th - 2024
Frugivores and Seed Dispersal: Unifying ecology, evolution and conservation in a human-modified world
Dear colleagues,
We are excited and deeply honored to announce that the forthcoming Frugivores and Seed Dispersal Symposium will be hosted in Ilheus, Bahia, Brazil, next year (4-8 August 2024).
The international symposium on frugivory and seed dispersal was first held in Mexico in 1985 (organized by Ted Fleming and Alejandro Estrada) and since then, the meetings have been organized in different regions around the globe at roughly five-year intervals.
The program will feature keynote presentations, concurrent workshops, poster sessions and exhibitors.
We extend a warm invitation to the global frugivore and seed dispersal research community to join us in Ilhéus/Bahia, Brazil, for this enriching event. It will provide an excellent platform to share your research, knowledge, and experiences with colleagues and friends from across the globe.
Additionally, we are planning a series of post-symposium excursions, allowing attendees to explore the rich biodiversity and cultural heritage of Bahia.
Kind regards,
The Organizing Committee of the FSD 2024
